Leo the Piddler

Like I discussed in Leo vs Potty training Pt. 1, Leo has been quite great about not going in the house, as well as we’ve quite much stopped bring him from our door to the potty spot. Although, because whatever seems to be one step forward, two steps back, I wasn’t amazed to see Leo piddle for the very first time. It goes like this:

Leo sees people. people see Leo. Leo starts the wiggle as well as races as far as the leash allows. people get thrilled that Leo is thrilled to satisfy them. People’s enjoyment shifts Leo’s enjoyment into overdrive, as well as Leo’s wiggle moves from his tail, to his torso, to his head. in some cases he tries to jump up. when they meet, Leo is head over heels as well as all pee breaks loose.

I’ve checked out that piddling is something that numerous puppies do as well as will soon grow out of. However, up until I can count on Leo to keep his piddles to himself up until we reach the designated potty spot, I have to scoop him up as well as apologetically (also awkwardly) tell any type of bypassers I’m scared he’ll pee.

In the comments below, let me understand if there’s anything else I can do to prevent piddling. Scooping up a 30+ lbs pup is getting to be difficult work!
